Malibu Beach Wedding

If a Malibu Beach wedding has always been your dream, you can stop dreaming and start making it a reality. There are several beach clubs located along the beach, and most of them are open to the public.

Some of the beach clubs offer wedding packages. It is possible to have a beach wedding and honeymoon at the same venue, which can make it much easier.

If you want to have a wedding in Malibu Beach, but you don’t want to use a beach club, there are 20 miles of public beach access along Malibu Beach. Any of these places can be used for a wedding. So, you don’t have to worry about trespassing on someone’s private property. And, don’t forget the Malibu Pier. That is a good place for a Malibu Beach wedding.

If you do see a particularly lovely spot on the beach, but there are houses close by and you’re not sure if it’s someone’s private beach or not, first think about this. If you can get to it from a public access, then the part of the beach that is designated as the “wet sand” area is public, even if signs are present stating otherwise. If you don’t mind getting your feet and clothing a little wet, you can have a wedding at the “wet sand” line.

Some homeowners do have what are known as public beach easements on the dry sand part of the beach. If you want to have your Malibu Beach wedding on dry sand, you can check to see if this is true of the spot you’ve picked. If it is, you still may wish to check with the homeowner, simply as a matter of courtesy. And, it goes without saying, or it should, that you should leave the area as litter-free and neat as you found it, if not more so.
